Yes. Okay Spielberg is Apple notarized — it went through Apple's full certification process. The Gatekeeper warning appears because some Macs flag apps downloaded outside the Mac App Store, even notarized ones.
When you see the warning: right-click (or Control-click) the app icon and choose Open. Then click "Open anyway." You only need to do this once.
Renders are priced per second of finished video. A typical 5-second scene costs a fraction of a dollar. A 15-second scene costs a little more. Costs vary by style and quality settings.
New accounts receive $10 in free fuel — enough to make several complete scenes before spending anything. The app shows you the estimated cost before every render, so there are no surprises.

Open beta pricing is locked until we announce otherwise. If we add a platform fee in the future, we'll tell you well in advance. The app will always be free to download and use for writing, casting, and planning.
